Dirt, Garlic, and Frisky Bunnies. Oh my.

Hello – Welcome to February! How’s 2021 treating you so far? I can’t complain but I seriously need some travel in my life. Hmmm… Maybe when it warms up a bit more. Speaking of warming up, it’s garden planning time! Last year, I started a bit late due to my move, but this year I’ll be ready. I’m adding two more raised garden beds. One in the side yard with the other two I already have, plus a free-standing one on my patio for some herbs. I’m going to try my luck with garlic! My plan for this weekend is to get dirt from my local hardware store so I’m prepared when my raised…

    It’s 2021 – Now what???

That’s me! Okay, not really. LOL But I have been snuggling on the couch with the puppers and my coffee, working on my 2021 goals and resolutions. This week, I’ll be putting down my goals for the year on my overly large dry erase board and my new day planner. I’m trying a dashboard version this year. I’ll let you know how I like it. One of my personal goals is to take a vacation. On a beach, hopefully a cruise. I know, it’ll depend on the state of the country, but that’s top on my list. Plus, not spending too much time on social media. Some days, I’m running down the rabbit hole on…

    January 2019 – Organizing

It’s a new year and a new me. (Don’t we always say something like that?) We start the new year with resolutions and promises to do things differently. That’s me. Every year. Not happening this year. This year, I’m making goals. I’m starting with picking an inspirational word to keep me, for lack of a better word, inspired. JI’ve been tossing out words and trying to decide what would fit me. This year I want to write more, get healthier, stick to my plans, and minimize my belongings (I have too much stuff collected from my parents and my husband – all deceased – plus my own things). In no particular…

    Merry Christmas!

It’s the end of 2018 and I’ve been reflecting on this year. I’ve had plenty of ups and downs, some days it feels like more downs than ups, but I’m moving on and working on getting my health under control. It can only get better – right?? 🙂 I’m looking forward to publishing a new series in 2019 – Welcome to The Haven. It’ll be several novellas surrounding the members of The Haven – a BDSM club. My plans are to publish the first two in January 2019 as ebooks. His Last Hope, book three in The Tanners series, has been a long time coming (my downs for 2018) but…

    IT’S A MIRACLE!!!

(And I have pictures to prove it). My fifteen-year-old cat, Miss Izzy, is socially hopeless. She’s a curmudgeon. A hermit. A loner. She refuses to associate with me or my other pets. I’ve had her since she was about six months old and I’ve learned to adjust. I’ve never had a problem with any of my other pets being friendly with the others. Only Miss Izzy. BUT over this past weekend, she decided to lay on the chair with me. She even stayed when one of the dogs (Bear) joined us! It didn’t last long, maybe ten minutes, but what a break-through. As long as they didn’t look at each…

    Getting to know me

Hello All. Here’s a little bit of fun. Below are some items of interest about me. I’d love it if you’d share some about you in the comments below. Critical Questions: Coffee or Tea? I love coffee. Mixed with lots of cream and flavoring, it is life’s true elixir. But, I need less caffeine in my life so I’m trying to stick with teas. I’m enjoying different flavors—Cinnamon/Apple, Peach Green tea, Blackberry. You get the picture. But I slip and grab a tall caramel mocha latte occasionally. Cats or dogs? Both! I have three dogs and one cat. You’ll see them scattered on my web pages. I love both. The…
