Getting to know me
Hello All. Here’s a little bit of fun. Below are some items of interest about me. I’d love it if you’d share some about you in the comments below.
Critical Questions:
Coffee or Tea? I love coffee. Mixed with lots of cream and flavoring, it is life’s true elixir. But, I need less caffeine in my life so I’m trying to stick with teas. I’m enjoying different flavors—Cinnamon/Apple, Peach Green tea, Blackberry. You get the picture. But I slip and grab a tall caramel mocha latte occasionally.
Cats or dogs? Both! I have three dogs and one cat. You’ll see them scattered on my web pages. I love both. The dogs do snuggle more than the cat but she has her moments (you know those aloof cats).
Ebooks or physical books? I love the feel of holding a book in my hands—the weight, the smell, the texture. But I’m also practical. As many times as I have moved in my life plus as many books as I read on vacations, I’ve come to the conclusion that ebooks make more sense. I do splurge on physical books by my favorite authors, but the majority of my books are in electronic format. I have several bookcases loaded with both old and new books. In fact, I’m starting to double up books on the shelves so I should start thinking of buying another bookcase. I just don’t know where I’ll put it!
Morning or evening person? I’m a morning person. If I don’t get it done before noon, it’s a struggle.
The Basics:
Favorite color– green
Favorite food– Chicken fajitas. (with a margarita, of course)
Favorite movie– Don’t make me pick just one! I love watching movies but my all-time favorites (in no particular order) are The Fifth Element, Young Frankenstein, Sweet Home Alabama, Fantastic Beasts, Indiana Jones (1stone), It’s a Wonderful Life, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. I could go on but I’ll stop. For now. Hehehe
Favorite TV show– Last Man Standing, NCIS (original and New Orleans), Mom, Big Bang Theory.
Favorite Author– Lorraine Heath, Gena Showalter, Lexi Blake, Christine Feehan. So many more to list!
Favorite vacation– My all-time best vacation was Scotland and Ireland. Beautiful! I love the countryside, the food, the accents, the people. My family and I try to go on a Caribbean cruise every year. It’s my time to relax and get away from it all. I also try to go to a different location once a year – try something new, see new places,
Let me know more about you. I’m curious what you enjoy. Let’s get to know each other.
xoxo – Sharla
